been forever since i've updated this journal... almost exactly a year(!). wow a lot has happened. i now work for a company named Sanborn editing aerial photography; next time you're on google earth look at the copyright at the bottom. i got married last summer, got a new car a few months back, went for the month of April on an artist residency at the Vermont Studio Center, and just last week bought a house. this year i traveled to Vermont, DC three times, NYC once (unless you count the 3am layover from Burlington), saw Crater Lake in Oregon, and visited the redwoods in northern California. the only downside with all this going on is that i've been slacking in art production. once we get moved into the house i'll have a huge two-car garage as a studio. now all i need is a sink to wash brushes and time to paint... but what else is new. i feel like i've grown up a lot this year and i'm curious as to what this one will bring. tarot cards say this is my year you know
